22 SEP. 2026 · In this episode of Wake Up with Miya, I'm joined by Morgan Smith, founder of Pūʻiwa Hawaiian Farms, CEO of Monsoon Beverages, and the man behind Kalm with Kava.
Together, we explore the fascinating history of ʻawa—known throughout much of the world as kava—and its deep roots in Hawaiian culture. Morgan explains how ʻawa first arrived in Hawaiʻi, why it became one of the original canoe plants, and the important role it played in the lives of the aliʻi and kahuna. We also discuss traditional preparation methods, how those customs changed after Western contact, why much of ʻawa's history has been forgotten, and the differences between traditional Hawaiian ʻawa and the way most people experience kava today.
Morgan also shares his personal journey from the software industry to founding Pūʻiwa Hawaiian Farms and Kalm with Kava, why he chose to dedicate himself to growing ʻawa in Hawaiʻi, what he's learned from working directly with local farmers, and why preserving this remarkable plant is about much more than simply producing another beverage.
The conversation continues on the Waiola Plus Side, where Morgan opens up about the challenges of being a mainlander involved with Hawaiian ʻawa, why he believes his kuleana is to help preserve the plant rather than speak for Hawaiian culture, how close Hawaiʻi came to losing ʻawa altogether, the people he credits with helping keep it alive, and the ethical debate over growing kava outside the Pacific Islands.
We also continue our conversation about his Big Island farm, fresh ʻawa harvesting, and where he believes the future of Hawaiian ʻawa is headed.

22 SEP. 2026 · What if some of San Francisco’s strangest buildings, statues, and public artwork are revealing something hidden in plain sight?
After visiting San Francisco and noticing unusual symbols throughout the city, I asked Jessie Czebotar to help me examine what they could mean.
In this conversation, Jessie shares her interpretations of the San Francisco city seal, the Pacific-Union Club inside the former James C. Flood mansion, Grace Cathedral and its labyrinths, the city’s early Masonic history, and the Mayan-inspired imagery covering the 450 Sutter building.
We also examine the 12 faceless figures positioned around 580 California Street, San Francisco’s enormous heart sculptures, and the connections Jessie sees between the heart imagery, the Ursuline Order, and vampirism.
On the Plus Side, the conversation continues into the alleged connection between the Pacific-Union Club and Bohemian Grove. Jessie discusses what she believes may exist beneath the Bohemian Grove owl altar, along with alleged underground areas, secret councils, occult contracts, Kabbalah symbolism, ancient entities, and rituals connected to the site.

In this conversation, Jessie Czebotar and I examine Memphis’s connection to ancient Egypt and the meanings she sees within the Memphis city seal, the Tennessee state flag, the University of Memphis coat of arms, and the Catholic diocese’s symbolism. We also explore the Memphis Pyramid, Ramesses II, the Apis bull, Serapis, ancient Egyptian writings about death, and whether naming a city after an ancient location could carry spiritual or territorial significance.

Dr. Juliette Engel is a physician, author, and founder of the Angel Coalition, an organization that worked to combat human trafficking throughout Russia and the former Soviet Union.
In this episode, Juliette shares her personal account of being placed in the CIA’s Monarch MK-Ultra program as a child. She discusses Project Paperclip, the alleged use of trauma and drugs in mind-control experiments, the “annexes” where she says these programs operated, and how she created “Sparky” as a source of courage and strength.
Juliette recounts escaping at seventeen, rebuilding her life, becoming a physician, and later moving to Moscow. She explains how the Angel Coalition developed into a network of organizations working across the former Soviet Union to raise awareness, assist trafficking victims, and help bring children home.
She also discusses Stanford Research Institute, Fort Point beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, harmonics, and what she remembers about the San Francisco music scene during the 1960s.

In the full Patreon version, Juliette shares her account of meeting Jeffrey Epstein at a private gathering in the San Juan Islands in 1988. She explains what she says Epstein wanted from her, why he questioned her about converting and transmitting digital images, the offer he allegedly made, and why she felt she was in serious danger that night.

For more than a decade, Crrow777 has spent thousands of hours pointing his cameras and telescopes toward the skies, capturing footage that has led him to question much of what we've been taught about the Moon, Sun, and what may be happening above us.
In this interview, Crrow777 joins me to share some of his most fascinating telescope footage, including the famous Lunar Wave that first brought widespread attention to his work. We look at the footage together as he explains what he captured, why he still doesn't know exactly what causes the phenomenon, and how his understanding of it has evolved over the years.
We also get into strange objects and orbs he's captured, his thoughts on UFO and UAP disclosure, what he believes the Moon and Sun actually are, his solar observations, the mysterious "second sun" footage, the firmament, and why he created the term "Sky Clock" to describe his approach to studying what's above us.
