7 MAY. 2024 · Description: Seeking glory for ourselves will end in destruction. While it is tempting to exalt ourselves, the glory is only temporary and will come to ruin. Even in uncertain times where evil men exalt themselves, the true God of the Bible is the one who truly is high and lifted up. In the world today, people do well to seek God's glory, for it is when God has all the glory that sinners are truly lifted up! Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 2:6-20

1 MAY. 2024 · Sermon wait for the Lord's answer. In a world filled with uncertainty, it is far easier to trust in ourselves for the right answer. However, it is by faith in Jesus that believers can navigate a difficult world... especially in light of impending judgement. Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 2:2-5

22 ABR. 2024 · Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 Sermon Description: What do we do as believers when the answer we are looking for from the Lord doesn’t come? Or, when we get an answer that we did not want or expect? When we are faced with wrongs and injustice, we can always wait on the Lord’s answer… for it is an answer that we can trust.

22 ABR. 2024 · Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 1:1-11 Sermon Description: There are many things in the world that do not make sense to us. When we say, "Why O Lord?", we do not always get the answer that we expect. The truth is, his ways do not seem good and just to us at times. Even if his ways do not make sense to us, we can trust him knowing that his ways are truly good and just!

4 ABR. 2024 · Sermon Description: Through the witness of Scripture, we are invited to come and see the empty tomb along with Mary Magdalene and the disciples! Even though we do not physically see, we see that the risen Jesus is written about so that we may believe! (John 20:31). For it is through believing in the risen Jesus that we have life in his name. Scripture to be read:  John 20:1-10

4 ABR. 2024 · Sermon Description: At the end of the High Priestly Prayer of Jesus, he prays for the world. Jesus' desire throughout his ministry is that people would believe in him. Jesus' heart for his people now is that they be one so that the world may believe in his name. Scripture to be read:  John 17:20-26

25 MAR. 2024 · Sermon Text: John 17:6-19 Sermon Description: Jesus is high and lifted up to accomplish the purpose of saving sinners through the cross. Now that Jesus has gone into heaven, he works through his people to accomplish his purposes! In Jesus' prayer, we see his will for his people: That they be sent out into the world for his purposes.

13 MAR. 2024 · Scripture to be read:  John 17:1-5 Sermon Description: As Jesus is about to be arrested, he prays that he may be glorified. It is good and right that Jesus receive glory as fully man and God and we dare not attempt to rob him of his glory. All glory be to Christ, for it is in him alone that the salvation plan of God is fulfilled!

13 MAR. 2024 · Scripture: Mark 1:21-28 Summary: When Jesus spoke, His words were different. He spoke with authority when interpreting the scriptures and He had the authority to silence demons. We take a look at a couple of Jesus' "power words," then consider what the strongest word of all is.  Themes: Jesus' authority, sovereignty of God, the word of God, spiritual warfare, evangelism

18 FEB. 2024 · A great promise we can hold to as genuine believers in Christ is that true believers do not perish in the end, but persevere (John 10:27-29). However, we also know that perseverance is not passive, but active. Perseverance is not easy, but difficult. As we await the Lord’s return, James paints a picture of what it looks like for the genuine believer to persevere to the end. Scripture to be read: James 5:7-12
