Mason is a native of Hampton, Virginia, and received his formal education from the Hampton City Public School system. He attended Phoebus High School and later became a graduate of James Madison High School in Norcross, Georgia. He gave his life to Christ at the age of 8 years under the late Apostle Harry S. Das of Beulah Tabernacle in Newport News, Virginia. Elder Mason served the Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg community playing the piano for various churches, and at the age of 16 became the minister of music to New Shiloh Christian Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Herman L. Sessoms. At age 16 he heard the voice of the Lord to preach the Gospel. August 1, 2004, at the age of 17 he was licensed into the Gospel Ministry to preach the Gospel under the New Shiloh Christian Church in Newport News, Virginia where he had served as a Minister of Music and Sunday School Teacher. While at New Shiloh Christian Church he also formed the first Vacation Bible School the church has ever had and youth choir. In July of 2005, Elder Mason served at the Colossian Baptist Church in Newport News, Virginia as an associate minister at the age of 18 years. While being an associate minister at Colossian Baptist Church, he was the Pastor’s Armor Bearer and was the director of the Angel Chorus, and the Sunday School Teacher. He sat under the tutelage of the Reverend Dr. Peter A. Evans for over 5 years receiving orthodox teaching and sound and anointed leadership. He also participated in the Baptist Training Union Congress of Virginia at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. In April 2007, Elder Mason was ordained by the authority and order of Colossian Baptist Church. Upon being ordained, Elder Mason was officiating weddings and funerals and served as supply pastor to various churches that were without a pastor. In May of 2010, Elder Mason served as Interim Pastor to Jesus Apostolic Church in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and was licensed into the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, International. This is upon the recommendation of his late uncle District Elder John C. Oliver, Sr., who was the pastor at the time. He had launched the first ever Vacation Bible School and had gotten the community involved providing resources to even include someone allowing the children to play in their pool. During his leadership, he brought other churches together in Pittsburgh's surrounding areas and neighboring counties. In the spring of 2011, Elder Mason tendered his resignation to pursue other ministry opportunities in Pittsburgh, PA. Elder Mason's academic achievements consist of receiving his Small Business Diploma from Ashworth College in Norcross, Georgia in 2016. He is also a 2017 Graduate of the University of Phoenix earning an Associate of Arts in Applied Psychology. In 2021, from the same school, Elder Mason received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Currently, he pursuing his Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Adult Education and Training.Elder Mason’s professional experience is in Mental Health and working within the human services within Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Department of Human Services where had worked with at-risk youth and in the foster care and criminal justice system. Currently, he works in the Criminal Justice System for the Bureau of Prisons as an Administrative Duty Officer and case manager supervisor for Newport News and Norfolk, Virginia. God has gifted Elder Mason with the apostolic-prophetic mandate to strengthen the Body of Christ.
