This week we are discussing PCOS. If you have never heard of it, polycystic ovarian syndrome is a lifelong health condition that affects hormone levels, contributing to insulin resistance and high androgen levels that affect ovulation, menstruation, fertility, acne and excess facial and body hair growth. Diagnosis can be revealed through symptoms, blood work and/or ultrasounds.

Here on The Wellness Rock, we focus on healing our bodies NATURALLY. When you first get diagnosed your doctor might suggest getting on birth control and/or other medications but we know from previous episodes, that may not be your best option. I am here to share with you 5 steps you can take TODAY to alleviate some of your symptoms and help you get back to feeling your best!

Step 1. Eating a diet that is blood sugar balancing and anti-inflammatory
Step 2. Reduce your stress levels
Step 3. Prioritizing sleep
Step 4. Reduce caffeine intake
Step 5. Lymphatic drainage
