Story Transcript:

Pl: Jesteśmy na jednym z najwspanialszych wesel, jakie kiedykolwiek widziałem.
En: We're at one of the greatest weddings I've ever seen.

Pl: Wojciech i Katarzyna wyglądają niesamowicie szczęśliwie, tylko teraz pojawił się problem.
En: Wojciech and Katarzyna look incredibly happy, only now there is a problem.

Pl: Katarzyna zaczęła tańczyć polkę, trzymając wysoko welon na swojej głowie.
En: Catherine began to dance the polka, holding the veil high on her head.

Pl: Niestety, przypadkowo welon zaczyna się palić od świecy.
En: Unfortunately, the veil accidentally catches fire from the candle.

Pl: Jeden z gości szybko reaguje i próbuje ugasić ogień, ale wtedy ustała mu muzyka i wszyscy patrzą na Katarzynę z poparzonym welonem.
En: One of the guests reacts quickly and tries to put out the fire, but then the music stops for him and everyone looks at Catherine with a burned veil.

Pl: Wojciech jest zbulwersowany, a Katarzyna płacze.
En: Wojciech is appalled and Katarzyna is crying.

Pl: W tym momencie zaczynają się kolejne problemy.
En: At this point, other problems begin.

Pl: Wygląda na to, że cała sala jest ogarnięta nerwowym napięciem.
En: It seems that the whole room is seized with nervous tension.

Pl: Ale wtedy jeden z gości zaczyna dobrać się do mikrofonu.
En: But then one of the guests starts to get on the microphone.

Pl: To wujek Katarzyny, który jest znanym opowiadaczem historii.
En: He is Catherine's uncle who is a famous storyteller.

Pl: Zabrał głos i zaczął opowiadać historię o tym, jak on sam spalił swoją marynarkę, kiedy był młodszy.
En: He spoke up and began telling the story of how he himself had burned his jacket when he was younger.

Pl: Wszyscy zaczęli słuchać z uwagą, a na twarzach gości pojawiły się uśmiechy.
En: Everyone began to listen attentively, and smiles appeared on the faces of the guests.

Pl: I wtedy zrozumieli, że perypetie z welonem mogą mieć wesołą stronę.
En: And then they understood that the adventures with the veil can have a cheerful side.

Pl: Wujek Katarzyny zaczyna opowiadać coraz bardziej komiczne historie.
En: Catherine's uncle starts telling more and more comical stories.

Pl: A goście zaczynają się uśmiechać i śmiać.
En: And the guests start to smile and laugh.

Pl: Było wesoło.
En: It was fun.

Pl: W końcu Katarzyna i Wojciech zaczęli tańczyć ponownie, a wujek Katarzyny wziął welon i zaczął nim machać na boki, co wywołało kolejną falę śmiechu.
En: Finally, Katarzyna and Wojciech started dancing again, and Katarzyna's uncle took the veil and began to wave it from side to side, which caused another wave of laughter.

Pl: Wieczór zakończył się wspaniale, a wszyscy goście byli zadowoleni.
En: The evening ended wonderfully and all the guests were satisfied.

Pl: Historia o przypadkowym podpaleniu welonu panny młodej podczas tańca polki przestała być tematem napięcia, a stała się źródłem wesołych wspomnień.
En: The story of the bride's veil being accidentally set on fire during a polka dance has ceased to be a topic of tension and has become a source of happy memories.
