Lv: Rīgas Centrāltirgus bija vieta, kur sastapties ar īstu dzīvi - te varēja redzēt visdažādākos cilvēkus un izjust tirgus rosību.
En: The Riga Central Market was a place to encounter real life - here you could see all sorts of people and feel the hustle and bustle of the market.

Lv: Aija, kura bija mākslas studente, šo vietu apmeklēja bieži, lai iegādātos svaigus augļus un dārzeņus savam gleznojumam.
En: Aija, who was an art student, often visited this place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables for her painting.

Lv: Viņai bija maza zila somiņa, kurā vienmēr bija zīmuļi un skices.
En: She had a small blue bag with her, always containing pencils and sketches.

Lv: Kādā skaistā pavasara dienā, kad tirgus bija īpaši dzīvs, Aija atkal devās uz tirgu.

En: When Aija returned home and opened the bag, she was surprised to find that it did not contain sketches or pencils - instead, it had a chef's book and sachets of spices.

Lv: Tai pat laikā Andris, gribot ierakstīt jaunu ideju receptei, atklāja zīmuļus un skices.
En: At the same time, Andris, wanting to jot down a new recipe idea, discovered pencils and sketches.

Lv: Abi satrūka, bet Aija, atceroties Jāni, tirgus sargu, aizskrēja atpakaļ uz tirgu.
En: Both were dismayed, but Aija, remembering Jānis, the market guard, ran back to the market.

Lv: Andris arī bija tur, kopā ar Jāni, kurš smaidīja un turēja Aijas somiņu.
