Ca: La brillantor del perfil encisador de Barcelona en el crepuscle es reflectia a la Rambla. Allí estava Jordi, gaudint del colorit de cada estand i del bullici de la gent. Caminava amb calma, respirant l'aroma de la ciutat que tant estima. Una bufanda amb els colors del FC Barcelona, penjada en un estand, li va captar l'atenció. Aquell seria el record perfecte per portar a casa.
En: The brilliance of Barcelona's captivating profile at twilight is reflected on La Rambla. There was Jordi, enjoying the vibrant colors of each stall and the hustle and bustle of the people. He walked calmly, breathing in the aroma of the city he loves so much. A scarf with the colors of FC Barcelona, hanging on a stall, caught his attention. That would be the perfect souvenir to take home.

Ca: El venedor era un home alt, amb una barba espessa i negra com la nit. Va somriure àmpliament quan Jordi es va acostar al seu estand. El preu de la bufanda era de quinze euros. Jordi, amb un somriure astut, va començar a regatejar.
En: The vendor was a tall man, with a thick black beard as dark as the night. He smiled widely as Jordi approached his stall. The price of the scarf was fifteen euros. Jordi, with a cunning smile, began to haggle.

Ca: -"Amic", va dir Jordi amb una veu amable, "deu euros és un preu més just, no creus?"
En: "Friend," Jordi said in a friendly voice, "ten euros is a fairer price, don't you think?"

Ca: L'home va riure amb ganes, els seus ulls brillaven amb un esclat de diversió. "Estàs de broma, no?", va respondre. "Veus com aquestes bufandes volen de les meves mans per només quinze euros."
En: The man laughed heartily, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Are you kidding?" he replied. "You see how these scarves fly out of my hands for just fifteen euros."

Ca: Jordi va rascar-se la barbeta, pensant en una estratègia. "Tens raó, són bufandes de gran qualitat. Però, mira, sóc un gran fan del FC Barcelona i aquesta bufanda seria perfecta per al meu pare, també un gran fan. No vols que ens emportem un bon record de Barcelona, oi?"
En: Jordi scratched his chin, thinking of a strategy. "You're right, they are high-quality scarves. But, look, I'm a big fan of FC Barcelona and this scarf would be perfect for my father, who is also a big fan. Don't you want us to take a good memory of Barcelona with us?"

Ca: L'home va examinar a Jordi, tot reflexionant sobre les seves paraules. Davant d'aquests ulls suplicants, l'home finalment va cedir, però amb una condició, "D'acord," va dir. "Deu euros si em promets que tornaràs aquí la pròxima vegada que visites Barcelona."

Ca: Jordi va somriure i va nodrir. Amb la bufanda a la mà i una aventura més en el seu viatge, Jordi va sortir de la Rambla, deixant enrere l'estand del venedor ambulant, que tornava a cridar el preu de les seves bufandes animadament.
En: Jordi smiled and nodded. With the scarf in his hand and one more adventure in his journey, Jordi left La Rambla, leaving behind the street vendor's stall who continued to enthusiastically call out the price of his scarves.
