Uk: Місто Львів завжди було місцем, де серця людей билися в ритмі кави, шоколаду та історичного спадку. Саме тут, на кам'яних вулицях старого міста, розгорнулася ця історія.
En: The city of Lviv has always been a place where people's hearts beat to the rhythm of coffee, chocolate, and historical heritage. It was here, on the cobblestone streets of the old city, that this story unfolded.

Uk: Оксана та Андрій, два кращих друзі, жили й працювали в цьому місті. Оксана працювала в невеликій затишній кавярні на Ринку, в той час як Андрій був шеф-кухарем у великому ресторані.
En: Oksana and Andriy, two best friends, lived and worked in this city. Oksana worked in a small cozy café on the Market Square, while Andriy was the head chef at a large restaurant.

Uk: Цього ранку в кавярню зайшов іноземець. Його високий зріст, широкі плечі та золотаві волосся виділялися на фоні тих Львів’ян, що сідали за сусідніми столами. Він замовив каву й усміхнувся Оксані. Завидала ця усмішка йому.
En: One morning, a foreigner walked into the café. His tall stature, broad shoulders, and golden hair stood out against the Lviv locals sitting at nearby tables. He ordered coffee and smiled at Oksana. Envious was this smile to him.

Uk: Андрій дав Оксані чергову порцію борщу для покупця. Вона подивилася на іноземця і сказала: "Це треба спробувати".
En: Andriy handed Oksana another serving of borscht for a customer. She glanced at the foreigner and said, "You have to try this."

Uk: Коли вона подала йому миску борщу, він подивився на неї, схопивши жменю інгредієнтів із страви. Постала така проблема - він не розумів, що таке борщ.
En: When she served him the bowl of borscht, he looked at her, picking up a handful of ingredients from the dish. There was a problem - he didn't understand what borscht was.

Uk: Оксана почала пояснювати йому про борщ. З трав, м'яса, овочів. Він дивилися з цікавістю, але коли Оксана почала говорити про буряк, його обличчя стало спантеличеним.
En: Oksana began to explain to him about borscht. With herbs, meat, vegetables. He looked on with interest, but when Oksana started talking about beets, his face became embarrassed.

Uk: "Буряк? В суп?" - шоковано йому обличчям викликало у Оксани намагання пояснити справжній та офіційний рецепт.
En: "Beets? In soup?" - His shocked expression prompted Oksana to try to explain the real and official recipe.

Uk: Сперечання стали все більш гострими. Їх розмова притягувала багато поглядів.
En: Arguments became more heated. Their conversation attracted many stares.

Uk: Оксана навіть подзвонила Андрієві, шеф-кухарю, щоб допоміг їй відстояти інгредієнти борщу.
En: Oksana even called Andriy, the head chef, to help her defend the borscht ingredients.

Uk: Але скільки б вони не спорили, вони не змогли переконати іноземця у тому, що буряк - це обов'язковий інгредієнт.
En: But no matter how much they argued, they couldn't convince the foreigner that beets were a necessary ingredient.

Uk: В кінці конців, іноземець спробував борщ. На його обличчі появилася задоволена усмішка.
En: In the end, the foreigner tried the borscht. A satisfied smile appeared on his face.

Uk: "Це смачно." - сказав він, вдячним поглядом дивлячись на Оксану.
En: "It's delicious," he said, looking gratefully at Oksana.

Uk: Оксана усміхнулася, ця маленька перемога гріла її серце. Виклик був усунений, її полегшення почувалося по всій кав'ярні.
En: Oksana smiled; this small victory warmed her heart. The challenge was overcome, her relief felt throughout the café.

Uk: І так, борщ залишається одним з найважливіших страв в Україні, незалежно від думки тих, хто його ще не пробував. Оксана та Андрій залишаються вірними своїй кухні, готуючи борщ за старовинними рецептами. І хоч інколи вони потрапляють в гострі дискусії, вони завжди знають - найважливіше смакувати страву, а не сперечатися про неї.
En: And so, borscht remains one of the most important dishes in Ukraine, regardless of the opinions of those who have not yet tried it. Oksana and Andriy remain faithful to their cuisine, preparing borscht according to ancient recipes. And though sometimes they engage in heated discussions, they always know - the most important thing is to enjoy the dish, not argue about it.
