Nl: In het hart van Amsterdam woonden drie vrienden: Femke, Pieter en Joost.
En: In the heart of Amsterdam, three friends lived: Femke, Pieter, and Joost.

Nl: Ze woonden in een klein huis bij een druk fietspad.
En: They lived in a small house by a busy bike path.

Nl: Fietsen waren het geheim van de stad, maar voor onze vrienden was het fietspad een enorme uitdaging.
En: Bicycles were the city's secret, but for our friends, the bike path was a huge challenge.

Nl: Op een zonnige dag besloten ze te gaan fietsen.
En: On a sunny day, they decided to go cycling.

Nl: Femke, de dapperste van hen, ging eerst.
En: Femke, the bravest of them, went first.

Nl: Ze hield haar ogen strak op het pad.
En: She kept her eyes locked on the path.

Nl: Ze zag niemand om tegen te botsen.
En: She saw no one to collide with.

Nl: Femke fietste veilig naar de andere kant.
En: Femke cycled safely to the other side.

Nl: Hij keek goed om zich heen en begon langzaam te fietsen.
En: He looked around carefully and started cycling slowly.

Nl: Hij fietste rustig en botste met niemand.
En: He cycled calmly and didn't crash into anyone.

Nl: Tot slot was het Joost zijn beurt.
En: Finally, it was Joost's turn.

Nl: Joost was bang.
En: Joost was scared.

Nl: Hij zag hoe druk het fietspad was.

En: They were standing right in the middle of the bike path.

Nl: Ze maakten foto's van de mooie gebouwen.
En: They were taking pictures of the beautiful buildings.

Nl: Joost probeerde te stoppen.
En: Joost tried to stop.

Nl: Maar het was te laat.
En: But it was too late.

Nl: Met een grote plons reed hij door de groep toeristen heen.
En: He rode through the group of tourists with a big splash.

Nl: Er was een grote schreeuw.
En: There was a loud scream.

Nl: Joost viel van zijn fiets.
En: Joost fell off his bike.

Nl: De toeristen schrokken.
En: The tourists were startled.

Nl: Maar toen ze zagen dat Joost in orde was, begonnen ze te lachen.
En: But when they saw that Joost was okay, they started laughing.

Nl: Ze vonden het een grappig voorval.
En: They found it a funny incident.

Nl: Joost stond op, zei sorry en fietste weg.
En: Joost stood up, apologized, and cycled away.

Nl: Aan het einde van de dag, zaten Femke, Pieter en Joost samen in hun huis.
En: At the end of the day, Femke, Pieter, and Joost sat together in their house.

Nl: Ze praatten en lachten over hun fietsavontuur.
