Story Transcript:

Af: Die son sak sag oor die bosveld terwyl Pieter en Elizna, hand aan hand, deur 'n nou paadjie in die hartjie van die Kruger Nasionale Park stap.
En: The sun is setting gently over the bushveld as Pieter and Elizna, hand in hand, walk through a narrow path in the heart of the Kruger National Park.

Af: Die park is 'n oase van wilde diere en ongerepte natuur.
En: The park is an oasis of wild animals and pristine nature.

Af: Gesien Pieter 'n renoster nog nooit in die lewe van nader het nie, was hierdie toer sy droom wat werklikheid word.
En: Having never seen a rhinoceros up close in his life, this tour was a dream come true for Pieter.

Af: Elizna, met haar liefde vir die natuur, deel sy opgewondenheid.

En: "He thinks we have his food!"

Af: " roep Elizna terwyl haar oë groot rek van vrees.
En: Elizna exclaims, her eyes wide with fear.

En: Some of their bread had escaped during their lunch and fallen to the ground - the rhinoceros must have smelled it.

Af: "Die wildwagter, 'n man met ervaring wat in sy oë geskryf staan, maak oop en trek hulle vinnig binne.
En: The ranger, a man with experience written in his eyes, opens the door and quickly pulls them inside.

Af: Met yskoue blikke kyk hy na buite, waar die renoster woedend rondsnuffel.
En: With steely gaze, he looks outside where the rhinoceros is angrily sniffing around.

Af: Hy neem 'n handvol kruie en strooi dit rondom die hut.
En: He takes a handful of herbs and scatters them around the hut.
