In a previous episode, the stage was set for this month’s conversations by acknowledging that there is no “stand out” influential Asian-American voice that has the recognition of Dr. King or Cesar Chavez. Today, we explore the humanity of our Asian-American brothers & sisters by helping them down from the unfair pedestal of “model minority”, bringing them front and center from the “invisible minority”, and loving them through the pain of being the “hunted minority”.
