Story Transcript:

He: השמש זרחה מעל ירושלים ביום יפה.
En: The sun shone over Jerusalem on a beautiful day.

He: יוסי, מרים, ואבי הלכו יחד לכותל המערבי.
En: Yossi, Miriam, and Avi walked together to the Western Wall.

He: הם רצו להתפלל ולבקש דברים טובים.
En: They wanted to pray and ask for good things.

He: יוסי לבש חולצה לבנה וכיפה שחורה.
En: Yossi wore a white shirt and a black kippah.

He: מרים ואבי היו גם בבגדים יפים.
En: Miriam and Avi were also in nice clothes.

He: הם הגיעו לכיכר הכותל.
En: They arrived at the Western Wall plaza.

He: הכותל היה מלא אנשים.
En: The Wall was full of people.

He: כולם התפללו ולחשו דברים קדושים.
En: Everyone was praying and whispering sacred words.

He: פתאום ראו יוסי ומרים אדם שנופל על הרצפה.
En: Suddenly, Yossi and Miriam saw a man falling to the ground.

He: האיש איבד את ההכרה.
En: The man lost consciousness.

He: מרים צעקה, "אבי!
En: Miriam screamed, "Avi!

He: תעזור לו!
En: Help him!"

He: "אבי רץ במהירות לאיש.
En: Avi quickly ran to the man.

He: הוא שאל, "אתה בסדר?
En: He asked, "Are you okay?

He: אתה צריך עזרה?
En: Do you need help?"

He: "האיש לא ענה.
En: The man did not respond.

He: יוסי לקח את הטלפון והתקשר לאמבולנס.
En: Yossi took out his phone and called an ambulance.

He: כל האנשים סביב הביטו בדאגה.
En: All the people around looked on with concern.

He: "זה מדאיג," לחש איש זקן ליוסי.
En: "This is worrying," an old man whispered to Yossi.

He: "האם אתה מכיר אותו?
En: "Do you know him?"

He: ""לא, אני לא מכיר אותו," ענה יוסי בנחישות.
En: "No, I don't know him," Yossi answered firmly.

He: כעבור כמה דקות, אמבולנס הגיע.
En: A few minutes later, an ambulance arrived.

He: הפרמדיקים ירדו במהירות ועזרו לאיש.
En: The paramedics quickly got out and helped the man.

He: הם בדקו אותו והעלו אותו על האלונקה.
En: They examined him and placed him on the stretcher.

He: מרים שאלה את הפרמדיקית, "הוא יהיה בסדר?
En: Miriam asked the female paramedic, "Will he be okay?"

He: "הפרמדיקית חייכה ואמרה, "כן, הוא צריך מנוחה וחמצן.
En: The paramedic smiled and said, "Yes, he needs rest and oxygen.

He: הוא יתאושש.
En: He will recover."

He: "אבי הביט ביוסי ואמר, "עשינו טוב שהזעקנו את האמבולנס בזמן.
En: Avi looked at Yossi and said, "We did well to call the ambulance in time."

He: "יוסי חייך.
En: Yossi smiled.

He: כולם חזרו להתפלל בהקלה.
En: They all returned to pray with relief.

He: כשהם סיימו, אמר יוסי, "היום היה יום מיוחד מאוד.
En: When they finished, Yossi said, "Today was a very special day.

He: חשוב לעזור לאחרים.
En: It's important to help others."

He: "מרים ואבי הנהנו.
En: Miriam and Avi nodded.

En: They knew their help had changed the situation.

He: ירושלים, עם כל האנשים שלה, חזרה לשגרה.
En: Jerusalem, with all its people, returned to normal.

En: The Western Wall remained a sacred and heartfelt place.

He: הם הלכו הביתה בידיעת לבם שעשו את הדבר הנכון.
En: They went home knowing in their hearts that they did the right thing.
