Drug abuse and the use of addictive substances are global problems which seem to have proliferated despite the amount of campaigns against it. In my skype interview with Dr Malik, a medical practioner in Bauchi State, Nigeria, he explained the impact of addictive drugs on the human body, tips on how to break addiction and his work with drug addicts. Truly, combating the problems of drug abuse and addictive substances is not just for the few stakeholders alone but all of us must be on board to rid our homes and societies of all addictive drugs and substances.
