Hr: Sunce je jarko sijalo na stari kameni zidove Dubrovnika.
En: The sun was shining brightly on the ancient stone walls of Dubrovnik.

Hr: Miris mora i svježe ribe širio se ulicama.
En: The scent of the sea and fresh fish filled the streets.

Hr: Bio je to poseban dan, dan kada su se svi okupili na tradicionalnom festivalu morskih plodova.
En: It was a special day, the day when everyone gathered at the traditional seafood festival.

Hr: Mateo, mladić jakih ruku i širokog osmijeha, pripremao je svoju mrežu za ribolov.
En: Mateo, a young man with strong arms and a wide smile, was preparing his fishing net.

Hr: Njegova najbolja prijateljica Marija, koja je uvijek voljela more i sve njegove tajne, došla mu je pomoći.
En: His best friend, Marija, who always loved the sea and all its secrets, came to help him.

Hr: Ivana, poznata po svojoj vedrini i smijehu, nestrpljivo je čekala da probaju prvu ulovljenu ribu.

Hr: Glazbenici su svirali starogradske melodije, a oko štandova s hranom vladala je vesela gužva.
