I’ve never found the Welcome Sequence in an email funnel effective. I’m not a huge fan because these tend to be all about you as the business owner. I know the intention behind it is to establish you as an expert and deliver value, but I think the way it's presented is fatally flawed.
So how do we get our ideal customers to a point where the pitch for your offer makes sense?

- Help your leads have a mindset shift. Think about how you can come to the pain point for your ideal client from a different perspective. When they think differently about their pain point, they act differently.
- You can still establish yourself as the expert. The focus of a Welcome Sequence is still useful, we just have to get there differently. So make sure that you are actually trying to help someone and that you are super intentional about what you share and how you share it.
- Establish the know, like, trust factor. If you’ve strategized your content, and they’ve paid attention, when they get to the Pitch Sequence, it will be an easier transition. They won’t live in decision fatigue because you will have given them more knowledge and power. Your offer won’t come as a surprise and this will help increase your sales.
