DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 37
The Bible assures us that God sees everything, so when we witness evil and wrongdoing, God knows what is transpiring as well. This is reassuring because His Word says He loves justice and will not abandon those He loves. He holds our hand and strengthens us to keep walking in the way He leads.

Tonight, take a moment to exhale and surrender the day to God, then allow His love and peace to fill your mind and heart. Let go of your anxieties and your fears. Calm your mind as you take in God’s truth in this psalm.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION:
Take some time to offer praise to God for His help and deliverance, as addressed in today’s psalm; express to Him your delight and security in His presence.

CONFESSION:
Has there been a time when you envied someone due to their wealth or success or begrudged someone who succeeded while taking shortcuts? Confess any jealousy or resentment in your heart. Ask God for strength when a similar situation arises, and praise God for His provision for you.

THANKSGIVING:
Thank God for the ways He has provided for you, for His faithfulness, and for the ways He has blessed you.

SUPPLICATION:
Lord, I lift up the worries of this day to You. I release the wrongdoing I see into Your hands and trust You with the outcome.
Give me patience as I wait for You to act on my behalf in my areas of need. Help me to still my mind so I can focus on Your truth. Lead me to rest in Your truth tonight. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

PRAYER
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of The Lord our God.”
PSALM 20:7
Dear Lord, while some may put their trust in governments, I will put my trust in You alone. I know You set the course of history, and I rest assured in Your plans. When I find myself distressed and disquieted, please bring me peace. Remind me that although the world brings tragedy and struggle, You offer comfort and victory. I do not want to be ignorant of the world's issues; instead, I want to be a part of the solution - ultimately striving to glorify You. As I rest tonight, give me dreams of bringing Your Kingdom here on earth. Give me the ambition to see the hope of heaven manifest in every facet of the world. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
