Story Transcript:

Ko: 하늘에 또다시 빗방울이 추락하는 도심, 그 중심에는 명동이라는 고요한 바다가 자리하고 있었다. 이른 밤, 민준은 타오르는 불빛 속에서 동네 앉은 떡볶이 판매원으로부터 매운 양념이 듬뿍 발라진 떡볶이를 받아 들었다.
En: In the midst of a downtown area where raindrops were falling once again from the sky, a tranquil sea called Myeongdong took its place at the heart. On a late night, Minjoon accepted a plate of spicy tteokbokki generously coated with hot seasoning from a street vendor amidst the flickering lights.

Ko: "매운 거나 먹어보자!", 하며 민준은 첫 숟가락을 입안으로 가져갔다. 입 안에 활활 타오르며 속을 찌릅니다. 그러나 민준은 더욱더 매운맛에 푹 빠지게 되었다.
En: "Eat something spicy!" Minjoon exclaimed as he brought the first spoonful to his mouth. It burned fiercely within his mouth and seared his insides. However, Minjoon found himself falling deeper into the intense spiciness.

Ko: 반면 지혜는 그녀의 하루를 감당하기 위해 그녀의 커피를 품에 꼭 안고 있다. 그녀는 한 손에 커피를 든 채, 다른 한 손으로는 빨간 신호등을 향해 절빠지게 달려가고 있었다.
En: Meanwhile, Ji-hye tightly held her cup of coffee in her arms, a measure to handle her day. With one hand holding the coffee, she rushed towards a red traffic light with fervor.

Ko: 그들의 세계가 충돌한 순간은 코너를 돌아가던 지혜가 길거리 음식에 열중해서 고개를 돌리지 않아 부딪혔을 때였다. 커피통 한가득이 민준의 떡볶이 위로 떨어져 두 음식이 뒤엉킨 채 하나의 소스를 형성했다. 뜨거운 매운맛이 민준의 잠자리를 찾아가고, 아이스 커피의 달콤한 맛이 그의 입을 적시게 했다.
En: The moment their worlds collided was when Ji-hye, engrossed in the street food, failed to turn her head and collided with Minjoon. The entire coffee spilled onto Minjoon's tteokbokki, resulting in the two dishes intertwined and forming a single sauce. Ko: "내 커피가!", 옆에서 지혜가 소리쳤다. 민준은 빠르게 돌아봐 침을 꼴딱 삼키고, "맛있어 보이다, 고마워!"라고 대답했다.
En: "My coffee!" Ji-hye exclaimed from the side. Minjoon quickly turned around, swallowing his saliva, and responded, "It looks delicious, thank you!"
