Lv: Saule sildīja pavasara dienu, un pilsētas tirdziņš bija pilns ar cilvēkiem.
En: The sun was warming the spring day, and the city market was full of people.

Lv: Juris steidza pāri tirgum, mēģinot atrast Zani, savu draudzeni, kura bija pazudusi cilvēku burzmā.
En: Juris hurried across the market, trying to find Zane, his girlfriend, who had disappeared in the crowd.

Lv: Juris bija liels un neveikls puisis ar labu sirdi.
En: Juris was a big and clumsy guy with a good heart.
