Ja: はるかは東京の明るい朝、太陽が新宿のビル群に映えている中、ヒールを鳴らして歩いていました。その日は、大企業のF社での就職面接が控えています。彼女の口には、一晩中煎じたビジネス用語が舞っていました。
En: On a bright morning in Tokyo, far away, the sun was shining on the buildings of Shinjuku as Haruka walked confidently in her heels. She had a job interview scheduled at the major company F Corporation that day. Business jargon she had rehearsed all night danced on her lips.

Ja: 一方、はるかの親友でありルームメイトのゆきは、心配そうに彼女の顔を窺っていました。はるかの慣れないフォーマルな日本語が、ゆきにはやや心配の種となっていました。
En: Meanwhile, Haruka's best friend and roommate, Yuki, watched her with a concerned expression. Haruka's unfamiliar use of formal Japanese language was a slight worry for Yuki.
