Comedian Karinda Dobbins isn’t afraid to speak truth to power.

Having moved to California from Detroit to pursue a career in Biotech, Karinda is a now standup comedian performing for straight audiences who dont necesssarily want her to talk about being gay, does gay shows where they dont neccesarily want her to talk about being Black, and Black shows where they might not appreciate her talking about being gay.

But everyone wants to hear her talk about mini homes, pampered pets and getting ready for Valentine’s Day.

Today the she-liarious Karinda Dobbins joins us to look at growing up in Detroit, auditioning for lesbian roles in Hollywood and her new comedy album Black & Blue.
