Lately I've been spending a lot of time reflecting on the oh so varied labels we've put on to ourselves, and have made serious parts of our identities.
As you'll hear me wrestle with on the pod, there some times in our lives where labels are a good thing- where they help other to understand us better, and create a safe space in areas we're exploring, furthering our commitments to things we find valuable.
But there's another side that happens where those labels begin to limit our growth. They disconnect us from those who have different opinions, perspectives, and differing labels from. Our labels can tremendously reduce our ability to grow and evolve as a person, and sometimes keep us from aligning with our highest self or our life purpose.
