Ca: En el cor de Barcelona, la ciutat que mai dorm, es troba el Barri Gòtic, un lloc ple de màgia i encant. I avui, el barri bull amb orgull; les banderoles penjen alegrement a través dels carrerons estrets i empedrats.
En: In the heart of Barcelona, the city that never sleeps, lies the Gothic Quarter, a place full of magic and charm. And today, the neighborhood buzzes with pride; banners hang cheerfully across the narrow cobblestone streets.

Ca: Hi ha una festa de barri en marxa! Miro a la multitud i veig a Joan, un nen petit amb uns ulls que brilla amb expectativa.
En: There is a neighborhood party underway! I look at the crowd and see Joan, a little boy with eyes shining with anticipation.

Ca: Joan, viatger incansable, amb la seva motxilla a l’esquena, explora aquest món antic amb meravella. El riu de gent el porta endavant, sense adonar-se'n, s’endinsa més i més en el corrent de la festa. Joan riu, salta al ritme de la música. Però de sobte, Joan es gira. No reconeix el carrer on es troba. Ha perdut la seva família enmig de la festa.
En: Joan, an tireless traveler, with his backpack on his back, explores this ancient world with wonder. The river of people carries him forward, unknowingly, as he delves deeper into the current of the celebration. Joan laughs, jumps to the rhythm of the music. But suddenly, Joan turns around. He doesn't recognize the street he's on. He has lost his family amidst the festivities.

Ca: Al principi, Joan prova de tornar enrere, però cada carrer sembla igual que l'anterior. Les parets dels edificis es miren com gegants, observant amb monstruoses ombres. Joan està perdut. Però no es deixa vèncer tan fàcilment: comença a caminar, triant carrers amb un cor valent.
En: At first, Joan tries to go back, but every street looks the same as the previous one. The walls of the buildings stare like giants, casting monstrous shadows. Joan is lost. But he doesn't give up easily: he starts walking, choosing streets with a brave heart.

Ca: Passa per una petita plça, on la gent dança al voltant d'una foguera. La flama creua l'aire, il·luminant els rostres somrients. Joan mira aquesta bonica vista, però encara sent la mancança de la seva família. Res no sembla igual sense ells.
En: He passes through a small square, where people dance around a bonfire. The flame dances through the air, illuminating smiling faces. Joan admires this beautiful sight, but still feels the absence of his family. Nothing feels the same without them.

Ca: Enmig de la seva tristesa, Joan escolta una cançó familiar. Es gira cap al so. I allà, en un racó oblidat del barri, troba a un grup d'ancians tocant guitarres i cantant la seva cançó favorita. Joan se suma a ells, cantant al bell mig de la nit. La musica, però, porta el missatge d'allò més important ara: Joan no està sol.
En: Amidst his sadness, Joan hears a familiar song. He turns towards the sound. And there, in a forgotten corner of the neighborhood, he finds a group of elderly people playing guitars and singing their favorite song. Joan joins them, singing in the middle of the night. The music, however, carries the most important message now: Joan is not alone.

Ca: Així, encoratjat, Joan decideix tenir una aventura. Explora cada carreró, cada raconet del Barri Gòtic. Veient el barri amb ulls nous, Joan comença a estimar aquesta part desconeguda de la seva ciutat. A la fi, troba la plaça principal. Allà, enmig de la festa, veu els seus pares. Només es desvia de moment, però ja s'ha tornat a trobar.
En: Encouraged, Joan decides to have an adventure. He explores every alley, every corner of the Gothic Quarter. Seeing the neighborhood with fresh eyes, Joan begins to love this unknown part of his city. Finally, he finds the main square. There, amidst the festivities, he sees his parents. He only strayed for a moment, but he has already found his way back.

Ca: Tornant als braços de la seva família, Joan mante una mica de l'esperit del Barri Gòtic dins seu. I tot i que es va perdre per una estona, va trobar quelcom més: una nova apreciació per la seva ciutat, per la música, per la comunitat. I potser això és el més bonic de la festa. És feliç d'estar de nou amb la seva família, però ara té una història per explicar.
En: Returning to the arms of his family, Joan carries a piece of the Gothic Quarter's spirit within him. And although he was lost for a while, he found something more: a newfound appreciation for his city, for music, for the community. And perhaps that is the most beautiful part of the party. He is happy to be back with his family, but now he has a story to tell.
