Raquel and David with Lost For Days join us with an inspiring story from an unexpected discovery in Alaska. On a ten day vacation, talking with other travelers, the idea of overlanding long-term was exactly what David was looking for. After a lengthy two day period, Raquel was in! Whistle; their 1998 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser joined the party with a fresh engine and transmission rebuild, along with a few other vital organs replaced. David and Raquel spent the better half of eight months getting Whistle ready for her big overland trip from California to South America.

In this two part episode, Raquel and David share their first hand experiences, tips and the most epic story of a biggest challenge overcome we’ve ever heard. Raquel also shares her favorite overlander recipe. You’ll want to hang on to your seat and strap into a five point harness for this one! https://ghtoverland.com/lost-for-days
