Nb: Lars gikk ut av togstasjonen i Bergen.
En: Lars walked out of the train station in Bergen.

Nb: Han var en ung mann fra Oslo og kom til Bergen for første gang.
En: He was a young man from Oslo and was visiting Bergen for the first time.

Nb: Det regnet veldig.
En: It was raining heavily.

Nb: Han likte ikke regnet.
En: He didn't like the rain.

Nb: Han hadde på seg en gul regnfrakk.
En: He was wearing a yellow raincoat.

Nb: Han måtte finne turistinformasjonen for å hente en bykart.
En: He needed to find the tourist information to get a city map.

Nb: Men det var så mye regn at han ikke kunne se veien.
En: But there was so much rain that he couldn't see the way.

Nb: Han prøvde å se på kartet på mobiltelefonen hans, men regnet gjorde skjermen våt.
En: He tried looking at the map on his cellphone, but the rain made the screen wet.

Nb: Lars gikk seg vill.
En: Lars got lost.

Nb: Han prøvde å spørre en gammel mann.
En: He tried asking an old man.

Nb: "Unnskyld, hvor er turistinformasjonen?
En: "Excuse me, where is the tourist information?"

En: He was wet and cold.

Nb: Han følte seg veldig trist.
En: He felt very sad.

Nb: Lars gikk rundt i timevis.
En: Lars wandered around for hours.

Nb: Han så en høy mur.
En: He saw a tall wall.

Nb: Bak muren hørte han musikk.
En: Behind the wall, he could hear music.

Nb: Han gikk mot musikken.
En: He walked towards the music.

Nb: Han visste ikke om han skulle gå inn, men han var kald, så han gikk inn.
En: He wasn't sure if he should go in, but he was cold, so he went inside.

Nb: Inne var det varmt og tørt.
En: Inside, it was warm and dry.

Nb: Det var et lite museum.
En: It was a small museum.

Nb: En dame så Lars.
En: A lady noticed Lars.

Nb: Damen smilte og gav ham et bykart.
En: The lady smiled and gave him a city map.

En: She showed him where the tourist information was.

Nb: Lars takket damen og gikk ut.
En: Lars thanked the lady and left.

Nb: Lars fant endelig turistinformasjonen.
En: Lars finally found the tourist information.

Nb: Han var glad.
En: He was glad.

Nb: Han kjøpte en varm kopp kaffe og satt og så på kartet.
En: He bought a warm cup of coffee and sat down to look at the map.

Nb: Lars smilte.
En: Lars smiled.

Nb: Han var ikke lenger fortapt i Bergen.
En: He was no longer lost in Bergen.

Nb: Nå ventet Bergen på ham.
En: Now Bergen was waiting for him.

Nb: Han var klar.
En: He was ready.

Nb: Regnet fortsatte å falle utenfor, men Lars brydde seg ikke.
En: The rain continued to fall outside, but Lars didn't care.

Nb: Han hadde lært at selv om veien kan være vanskelig, vil det alltid være noen som hjelper deg til slutt.
En: He had learned that even though the road can be difficult, there will always be someone to help you in the end.
