Story Transcript:

Pl: Była sobota.
En: It was Saturday.

Pl: Adam i Katarzyna postanowili spędzić dzień w Krakowie i spróbować słynnych pierogów z najlepszej restauracji w mieście.
En: Adam and Katarzyna decided to spend the day in Krakow and try the famous dumplings from the best restaurant in the city.

Pl: Wyszli z tłumem na Rynku Głównym i zaczęli wędrować po krętych uliczkach, w poszukiwaniu smakowitych klusek.
En: They left with the crowd at the Main Square and started wandering the winding streets in search of tasty noodles.

Pl: Jednak, mimo że byli pewni, że znają miasto, szybko zgubili się w labiryncie krakowskich zaułków.
En: However, even though they were sure they knew the city, they quickly got lost in the maze of Krakow's alleys.

Pl: Ich żołądki zaczęły burczeć, a na policzkach zaczęły im się pojawiać krople potu.
En: Their stomachs rumbled and sweat started to form on their cheeks.

Pl: Byli zdezorientowani i potrzebowali pomocy.
En: They were confused and needed help.

Pl: W końcu, na szczęście, zauważyli starszego pana idącego wzdłuż ulicy.
En: Finally, fortunately, they noticed an elderly gentleman walking along the street.

Pl: Adam podszedł do niego i z uśmiechem zapytał: "Przepraszam, czy możemy prosić o wskazówki do słynnej restauracji z pierogami?"
En: Adam walked over to him and smiled, "Excuse me, can we have directions to a famous dumpling restaurant?"

Pl: Starszy pan spojrzał na nich ze złośliwym uśmiechem i powiedział: "Oh, oczywiście!
En: The old man looked at them with a malicious smile and said, "Oh, of course!

Pl: Żeby tam dotrzeć, musicie iść w tym kierunku" - wskazał palcem na zupełnie przeciwną stronę miasta.
En: To get there, you have to go in this direction" - he pointed with his finger to the completely opposite side of the city.

Pl: Adam i Katarzyna spojrzeli na siebie z niedowierzaniem, ale postanowili zaufać miejscowemu.
En: Adam and Katarzyna looked at each other in disbelief, but decided to trust the local.

Pl: Zaczął się komiczny maraton przez uliczki i placówki, przez parki i zaułki, w długą i skomplikowaną trasę.
En: A comical marathon through streets and establishments, through parks and alleys, on a long and complicated route began.

Pl: Po godzinie błądzenia, ich nadzieje na pierogi zaczęły słabnąć.
En: After an hour of wandering, their hopes for dumplings began to fade.

Pl: Ale nagle, nieumyślnie, w jakiś dziwny sposób, natknęli się na tę słynną restaurację.
En: But suddenly, inadvertently, in some strange way, they stumbled upon this famous restaurant.

Pl: Najpierw nie wierzyli własnym oczom.
En: At first they couldn't believe their eyes.

Pl: Czyżby to była magia krakowskich uliczek?
En: Could this be the magic of Krakow's streets?

Pl: Wejrzeli do środka i nie mogli uwierzyć w to, co widzieli: restauracja była pełna, ludzie smakowali pierogi od jednej do drugiej.
En: They looked inside and couldn't believe what they saw: the restaurant was full, people were tasting dumplings from one dumpling to another.

Pl: Katarzyna zaczęła się śmiać, a Adam miał łzy w oczach.
En: Catherine started laughing and Adam had tears in his eyes.

Pl: Udało im się, mimo komicznych zakrętów i dezinformacji starszego pana.
En: They succeeded, despite the comic twists and misinformation of the old man.

Pl: Siadając przy stoliku, zamówili pierogi w różnych smakach.
En: Sitting down at the table, they ordered dumplings in various flavors.

Pl: Pyszne kluski, pełne mięsa, grzybów i seru, smakowały jak raj.
En: Delicious noodles, full of meat, mushrooms and cheese, tasted like paradise.

Pl: Ich głód był zaspokojony, a całe to szaleństwo miało sens.
En: Their hunger was satisfied, and all this madness made sense.

Pl: Po zjedzeniu ostatniej porcji, zapłacili i wychodząc z restauracji, spojrzeli na siebie z satysfakcją.
En: After eating the last portion, they paid and left the restaurant, looking at each other with satisfaction.

Pl: Wydawało się, że nie tylko znaleźli drogę do pierogów, ale także do wspólnego śmiechu i przygody.
En: It seemed that they not only found their way to dumplings, but also to laughter and adventure together.

Pl: Kraków zawsze będzie dla nich miejscem pełnym niespodzianek, a historia o ich poszukiwaniu pierogowej restauracji będzie przypomnieniem, że czasem trzeba się zagubić, aby znaleźć coś wyjątkowego.
En: Krakow will always be a place full of surprises for them, and the story of their search for a dumpling restaurant will be a reminder that sometimes you have to get lost to find something special.
