Story Transcript:

Es: Las calles de la Ciudad de México bullían de vida aquella tarde, como si presagiaban la cena a la que Juan se dirigía. Juan, un muchacho de veinticuatro años, vivía solo en su departamento en el animado distrito de Condesa. Juan había conocido a Ana, una bonita chica de su edificio, hace unas semanas y se había invitado delante de él a una cena. A su estómago le estaba royendo la perspectiva de una primera cita.
En: The streets of Mexico City were bustling with life that afternoon, as if foreshadowing the dinner Juan was heading to. Juan, a twenty-four-year-old boy, lived alone in his apartment in the lively district of Condesa. Weeks ago, Juan had met Ana, a pretty girl from his building, and she had invited him to dinner. His stomach was churning with the prospect of a first date.

Es: Juan, nervioso pero emocionado, veía las manecillas del reloj avanzar lentamente. Se apresuró a prepararse: se duchó, se afeitó y perfume con su mejor colonia.
