Story Transcript:

Th: วันหนึ่งน้องตื่นเช้ามากับความตั้งใจที่จะไปซื้อผลไม้ที่ตลาดจตุจักรกับเพื่อนๆ
En: One day, my younger sibling woke up early with the intention of going to buy fruit at the Chatuchak Market with their friends.

Th: เขาจำได้ว่าแม่เขาอยากกินแตงโม น้องเลยบอกกับศิริและสมชายว่าอยากไปซื้อแตงโมที่ใหญ่ที่สุดให้แม่เขา
En: They remembered that our mother wanted to eat watermelon, so they told Siree and Somchai that they wanted to buy the biggest watermelon for our mother.

Th: พอเดินถึงตลาดจตุจักร น้องก็ตื่นเต้นกับผลไม้หลากสีสันที่จัดวางอย่างสวยงาม
En: Arriving at the Chatuchak Market, my sibling was excited by the beautifully displayed variety of colorful fruits.

En: But then they heard Siree and Somchai laughing mockingly.

Th: "น้องๆ นั่นไม่ใช่แตงโม นั่นคือทุเรียน!" ศิริพูดกับน้องด้วยสีหน้าที่พยายามจะไม่หัวเราะ สมชายส่ายหัว "มันเหม็นแล้วนะ ไปหมดที่เลย"
En: "That's not a watermelon, that's a durian!" Siree said to my sibling with a face that tried not to laugh, while Somchai shook his head, "It stinks already. Let's move on."

Th: น้องตกใจจนตัวสั่น มือเขาเริ่มจับกลิ่นทุเรียนที่เขาไม่เคยทานเพราะเหม็น
En: My sibling was shocked and started to feel their hands smelling the durian they had never eaten because of its smell.

Th: เขาไม่รู้จะทำอย่างไร
En: They didn't know what to do.

Th: สมชายเห็นดังนั้นเลยวิ่งไปหาน้ำแข็งมาให้
En: Seeing this, Somchai ran to get some ice.
