Ja: 東京の夜景が眼下に広がり、大都会の鼓動が聞こえてくる。ハイエンドのカラオケバー「トーキョーメロディ」に、春樹、さくら、そしてヒロシ、3人の親友が訪れていた。
En: The night view of Tokyo spreads below, and the pulse of the metropolis can be heard. At the high-end karaoke bar "Tokyo Melody", Haruki, Sakura, and Hiroshi, three best friends, were visiting.

Ja: 春樹はソファに座り、メニュースクリーンを見つめながら深い溜息をついた。彼の眼前に広がっていたのは、彼が大がかりなプランを立ててきた場所だった。プランの目的は、彼の長年の片思い、さくらの気を引くこと。そしてその手段は、カラオケによる思い出づくりだったのだ。
En: Haruki sat on the sofa, sighing deeply while staring at the menu screen. In front of him was the place where he had planned something big. The purpose of the plan was to capture Sakura's attention, his unrequited love for many years. And the means to achieve that was to create memories through karaoke.

Ja: さくらは親しい友人で、普通の女性。しかし春樹にとって、彼女は特別だった。彼女の笑顔は春の桜のように優しく、彼の心を軽くさせてくれた。問題は、さくらが同じカラオケバーで別の男性、ヒロシに気があることだった。ヒロシは春樹の親友であり、カラオケの名手でもあった。
En: Sakura was a close friend, an ordinary woman. But for Haruki, she was special. Her smile was as gentle as the cherry blossoms in spring, and it lightened his heart. The problem was that Sakura had feelings for Hiroshi, another man at the same karaoke bar. Hiroshi was Haruki's best friend and a karaoke virtuoso.

Ja: 悩んでいる春樹にメニューが差し出された。それはヒロシが、彼のために選んだ曲目リストだった。リストには、今夜、春樹がさくらを楽しませるための、趣向をこらしたナンバーが並んでいた。「これでいける、頑張れ、春樹」というヒロシの言葉が励みになった。
En: A menu was handed to Haruki, who was troubled. It was a song list chosen by Hiroshi for him. The list included creatively arranged numbers for Haruki to entertain Sakura tonight. Hiroshi's words, "You can do it, Haruki, give it your all", encouraged him.

Ja: 心を決めた春樹は、現代の人気ポップソング「SAKURA LOVE」をセレクトした。そして、微かに揺れるサウンドと共に彼の歌声が響き始めた。しかし、声は音程を外し、リズムはズレ、歌詞も途中で忘れてしまうなど、彼のパフォーマンスは一言で言うと「ひどかった」。
En: With determination, Haruki selected the popular pop song "SAKURA LOVE". And with a faintly trembling sound, his voice started to resonate. However, his performance could be described in one word as "awful" - his voice was off-key, the timing was off, and he even forgot the lyrics halfway through.

Ja: しかし、歌い終えた彼に、周囲からは拍手が沸いた。特に、さくらの笑顔が眩しく、彼女が春樹の努力を褒めてくれた。
En: But after he finished singing, applause erupted from those around him. Particularly, Sakura's smile shone brightly, and she praised Haruki's effort.

Ja: その晩、春樹は彼女に告白した。だが、さくらは微笑んで彼の告白を断った。「友達として大好きだけど、恋愛感情はない」と。彼は失意の中、一人カラオケバーを後にした。
En: That night, Haruki confessed his feelings to Sakura. However, she smiled and rejected his confession, saying "I love you as a friend, but I don't have romantic feelings." In his disappointment, he left the karaoke bar alone.

Ja: しかし、彼はその後でも、何度もカラオケで歌い続けた。その理由は、さくらが笑った顔をもう一度見たくて。物語の最後はあまり満足のいくものではなかった。でも、その終わりが別の物語の始まりだった。
En: However, even after that, he continued to sing at karaoke multiple times. The reason was that he wanted to see Sakura's smiling face again. The ending of the story was not very satisfying. But it was the beginning of another story.

Ja: そして春樹は理解した。そう、彼がするべきだったのは、彼女の気を引くことではなく、彼の正直な心を伝えることだったのだ。そして、友情と共に強まる勇気を持つこと、さくらへの思いを続けること。そのすべてが、本当に大切なことだと。
En: And Haruki understood. Yes, what he should have done was not to capture her attention, but to convey his sincere heart. To have the courage that strengthens along with their friendship, and to continue his feelings for Sakura. All of that was truly important.
