The Emmy Award winning TV series Breaking Bad did a wonderful job of taking us into the seedy underbelly of America’s dysfunctional relationship with drugs, specifically crystal meth.

Although we got to see the dramatized world of Mexican Drug Cartels, sex workers, young addicts and drug kingpins, Breaking Bad never showed us the gay side of meth- how gay men use the drug to break down inhibition and connect with others sexually.

Steven Strafford’s new musical Methtacular! delivers the gay side of Breaking Bad we never got to see, by taking us on a hilarious but harrowing journey of his three years as a crystal meth addict in Chicago.
