Ja: 新宿のバッキンガム・ホテルの大広間で、サクラは縁遠い人々の間をくぐり抜けていました。大きな窓からは新宿の霓虹灯が眩しく反射していて、彼女の真珠のイヤリングがキラキラと揺れていました。
En: In the grand hall of the Buckingham Hotel in Shinjuku, Sakura was weaving her way through unfamiliar faces. The neon lights of Shinjuku were dazzlingly reflected through the large windows, causing her pearl earrings to glisten and sway.

Ja: 「ヒロシ！」彼女は突然声を挙げました。男はサクラの方へ向いた。その鋭い視線がサクラの心を捉え、彼女の動揺を鼓舞しました。彼女は心臓が飛び出すように感じましたが、自身を落ち着け、深呼吸をしました。
En: "Hiroshi!" she suddenly exclaimed, catching the attention of a man. His sharp gaze captured Sakura's heart and encouraged her to push through her nerves. Her heart felt like it was about to burst, but she composed herself and took a deep breath.

Ja: 彼女は口を開け、彼に恥ずかしい話を始めました。「最近、ヒロシくん、君の顔を見るたびに昔の友達のことを思い出して....」
En: She opened her mouth and began to share her embarrassing story with him. "Lately, Hiroshi-kun, every time I see your face, I'm reminded of an old friend... I used to have feelings for you."

En: She paused there and observed his expression. To her surprise, his look of astonishment also resembled the cold gaze of Yuri's late husband. "I'm sorry, Hiroshi... I know it's absurd..."

Ja: ところが、彼の視線がサクラの言葉を遮りました。「私はヒロシではありません、田中です。」サクラは自分が考えた恥ずかしい話が、まさかの相手に発せられてしまったことに唖然としました。そして、百合子が彼の肩に手を置いて、彼に向けて優しい笑顔を見せて現れたとき、彼女の心臓は凍りついた。
En: However, his gaze interrupted Sakura's words. "I am not Hiroshi, I'm Tanaka." Sakura was dumbfounded that the embarrassing story she had come up with was spoken to the wrong person. And when Yuri appeared, placing her hand on his shoulder and showing him a gentle smile, Sakura's heart froze.

Ja: 彼女は百合子の夫、田中をヒロシと間違えて話しかけてしまったことに気がつきました。彼女は混乱と恥ずかしさで真っ赤になりましたが、尊厳を保つために微笑みを絶やさず、謝罪しました。「すみません、見間違えました。」
En: She realized that she had mistaken Tanaka for Hiroshi and spoke to him. She blushed with confusion and embarrassment, but she maintained her dignity, never letting her smile fade as she apologized. "I'm sorry, I mistook you for someone else."

Ja: 百合子は驚きを隠しきれませんでしたが、それでも彼女はサクラに親切に微笑みました。「大丈夫よ、サクラ。みんな間違えることくらいあるわ。ただ、私のヒロシを懐かしんでいるのね。」
En: Yuri couldn't hide her surprise, but she still kindly smiled at Sakura. "It's alright, Sakura. Everyone makes mistakes. You just miss my Hiroshi, don't you?"

Ja: サクラは軽く頷きました。そして、一瞬で厚い和やかな雰囲気が再び広間に広がり、何も問題がなかったかのようにパーティーは続きました。サクラは一人、息をつき、新宿の夜の美しさをただ眺めるだけで許されました。
En: Sakura nodded lightly. And in an instant, a thick atmosphere of warmth once again filled the hall, and the party continued as if nothing had happened. Sakura was allowed to quietly catch her breath and simply gaze at the beauty of the Shinjuku night.
