As public reaction to COVID-19 swayed from panic to skepticism and the science behind the virus and the vaccine became a top-of-mind issue for the public, their view of medicine and healthcare workers also varied. Goes without saying, this affected people employed in healthcare. Touching a timely topic of the past year, Jessin also shares her experience growing up in a small town in Massachusetts as a woman of color.
