Story Transcript:

Ga: Ar oíche gheal gríosach i lár chroí Bhaile Átha Cliath bhí teach tábhairne beomhar agus an ceol traidisiúnta ag séideadh tríd an aer.
En: On a bright lively night in the heart of Dublin, there was a bustling pub and traditional music flowing through the air.

Ga: Bhí daoine ó gach cearn ag teacht le chéile le haghaidh deochanna, ceol, damhsa, agus gáirí.
En: People from all around came together for drinks, music, dancing, and laughter.

Ga: Láithreach taobh istigh den teach tábhairne seo, bhí beirt cairde, Seamus agus Aoife, ag suí cois barra ag pleidhcíocht agus ag ól leo féin.
En: Inside this lively pub, two friends, Seamus and Aoife, sat at the bar chatting and drinking together.

Ga: Bhí Seamus fear álbhinn sásta a bhí ard suas ina shuí.
En: Seamus was a cheerful man sitting tall in his seat.

Ga: D'éirigh leis a phionta a bheith i mbun, agus é ag caint le Aoife, nuair a chonaic sé pionta beorach lán os a chomhair.
En: As he was about to take a sip, he noticed a full frothy pint in front of him.

Ga: Gan smaoineamh, rug sé ar an ngloine agus thóg sé deoch mhór as.
En: Without thinking, he grabbed the glass and took a big gulp.

Ga: Ach ansin, chonaic sé é, leathan láidir, fir amháin ag stánadh air, a shúile mar lasair.
En: But then, he saw a large, sturdy man staring at him, his eyes shining like lightning.

Ga: Fear mór ab ea é, le lámha mór chomh crann darach, agus é cáil as a phearsantacht borb.
En: He was a big man, with hands as big as oak trees, and his rough personality was well-known.

Ga: Ba é an pionta sa láimh ag Seamus ná a bheirín!
En: The pint in Seamus's hand was not his!

Ga: Chuir Seamus an pionta síos go tapa, agus d'fhéach sé ar an bhfear mór le súile móra.
En: Seamus quickly put the pint down and looked at the big man with wide eyes.

Ga: Bhí sé réidh le leithscéal a ghabháil.
En: He was ready to apologize.

Ga: "Och, tá brón orm!
En: "Oh, I'm sorry!"

Ga: " ar seisean go crosta.
En: he said crossly.

Ga: "Mheas mé gur liomsa an pionta sin.
En: "I thought that pint was mine.

Ga: Níl aon drochmhéin ag baint leis.
En: There's nothing wrong with it."

Ga: "Bhí an tacsaí beagáinín míchompordach fós, ach le súil ó Aoife chuir sé críoch leis an líomhaint.
En: The taxi driver was still a bit uncomfortable, but with a hopeful look from Aoife, he put an end to the argument.

Ga: Chas sí ar an bhfear mór agus labhair sí go réidh leis.
En: She turned to the big man and spoke calmly to him.

Ga: "Ná bac leis," arsa Aoife.
En: "Don't mind him," said Aoife.

Ga: "Bhí botún beag déanta aige, sin uile.
En: "He made a little mistake, that's all."

Ga: "D'éist an fear le Aoife agus, le iontas mór ar Seamus, phreab féith an ghrínnse de óráiste air agus rinne sé gáire.
En: The man listened to Aoife and, to Seamus's great surprise, a grin spread across his stern face and he chuckled.

Ga: "Tá sé ceart go leor," ar sé lena ghuth garbh ach teilgeanach.
En: "That's alright," he said in his rough yet warm voice.

Ga: "Tarlíonn rudaí mar seo.
En: "These things happen.

Ga: Bainigí taitneamh as an oíche!
En: Enjoy the night!"

Ga: "Chun deiridh Seamus agus Aoife suí síos arís, ag léim le faoiseamh agus bhí an chuid eile den oíche ar dóigh acu.
En: In the end, Seamus and Aoife sat back down, breathing a sigh of relief, and enjoyed the rest of the night.

Ga: Is geal an scéal a chríochnaíonn go sásta, agus d'fhoghlaim Seamus ceacht luachmhar an oíche sin - bí cúramach le pionta duine eile a ól i dteach tábhairne Dublin!
En: It's a happy ending to the story, and Seamus learned a valuable lesson that night - be careful not to drink someone else's pint in a pub in Dublin!
