They are a musical enigma and force unto themselves, but, despite the fact they have carved their own deserved slice of metal history continue to produce quality albums rather than live on their laurels.
Theirs is a thrash metal name whispered in the same halls as Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth despite not quite achieving the international success and notoriety as the heavyweight trio.
Last months new album Hate Uber Alles affirmed Krator’s supremacy, justifying their intent to make music for themselves first and foremost, content in the knowledge their best is good enough for their fans and confident enough to back their own judgement.
Guitarist/vocalist Mille Petrozza had a great chat with HEAVY’s latest mouthpiece Coco Le Sex Bomb about the album and surviving the metal world Kreator style.
"It's nice to finally get some feedback since the album has been done since last October,” he smiled. “I was dying to hear the reactions of the fans because I really think this is one of our most powerful albums and it's great to see that a lot of people out there feel the same."
