This week we sit down with Raquel Silva, the founder, and owner of Sweet Joy Bites. In this episode, we talk about the company and its inspiration—Raquel shares some of the challenges and great tips for business owners. Having been born in Brazil, one of seven children, Raquel came to Texas with her family at the young age of two. She remembers hearing her dad say, "whatever you do, do it well," and it's no surprise Raquel describes herself as driven. Her continued work ethic and ability to accept opportunity when it knocks led her to meet the CEO of Fogo de Chao, which became the jump start to take her business to the next level.
