In Ruth chapter 4, God demonstrates that He faithfully arranges all things in your life, including every situation, circumstance, and even the people He brings into your life, to fulfill His designed purpose. (Ruth 4:14, Psalms 139:16-17, Romans 8:30, Isaiah 40:5) As you seen in Ruth, God sovereignly brings you from life challenges to an abundant life, from hard times to blessings, bitterness to happiness, emptiness to fullness, and despair to hope.
Ruth's story begins with a famine and ends with the birth of a baby - Obed, who becomes the father of Jesse, who becomes the father of King David, Israel's greatest king, and places Ruth in the lineage of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:5) Never doubt God's sovereign plan to carry out all of His Good plans for you. (Ephesians 3:20)
