"Seek not outside yourself. ²For it will fail, and you will weep each time an idol falls. ³Heaven cannot be found where it is not, and there can be no peace excepting there. ⁴Each idol that you worship when God calls will never answer in His place. ⁵There is no other answer you can substitute, and find the happiness His answer brings. ⁶Seek not outside yourself." "There is nothing outside you. ²That is what you must ultimately learn, for it is the realization that the Kingdom of Heaven is restored to you. ³For God created only this, and He did not depart from it nor leave it separate from Himself. ⁴The Kingdom of Heaven is the dwelling place of the Son of God, who left not his Father and dwells not apart from Him. ⁵Heaven is not a place nor a condition. ⁶It is merely an awareness of perfect Oneness, and the knowledge that there is nothing else; nothing outside this Oneness, and nothing else within." ACIM, T-18.VI.1:1-6
