While this journey may manifest differently for each individual, it ultimately involves a profound shift in mindset. It's a commitment to integrity, aligning our thoughts, words, and actions with what has been revealed by God. This is a life dedicated solely to God and the pursuit of true understanding.

A Course in Miracles
"You respond to what you perceive, and as you perceive so shall you behave. ²The Golden Rule asks you to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. ³This means that the perception of both must be accurate. ⁴The Golden Rule is the rule for appropriate behavior. ⁵You cannot behave appropriately unless you perceive correctly. ⁶Since you and your neighbor are equal members of one family, as you perceive both so you will do to both. ⁷You should look out from the perception of your own holiness to the holiness of others." 14 OCT. 2024 · In episode six of The Wandering Monk Podcast, we explore the profound and universal yearning for True Happiness as illuminated by A Course in Miracles. Unlike the fleeting, conditional happiness often portrayed by the world, the Course reveals that True Happiness is radically different it is not subject to opposites, such as sadness or loss. The world teaches us that happiness is something to be pursued, attained, and even lost, dependent on external circumstances or material gain. However, the Course offers a deeper understanding, one rooted in nondualism: the recognition that happiness, in its truest form, has no opposite.
I will read from two sections from chapter 21 for A Course In Miracles. The Last Unanswered Question and The Inner Shift.
The Last Unanswered Question
13. Elusive happiness, or happiness in changing form that shifts with time and place, is an illusion that has no meaning. ²Happiness must be constant, because it is attained by giving up the wish for the in constant. ³Joy cannot be perceived except through constant vision. ⁴And constant vision can be given only those who wish for constancy. ⁵The power of the Son of God’s desire remains the proof that he is wrong who sees himself as helpless. ⁶Desire what you want, and you will look on it and think it real. ⁷No thought but has the power to release or kill. ⁸And none can leave the thinker’s mind, or leave him unaffected. T-21.VII.13:1-8
The Inner Shift
1. Are thoughts, then, dangerous? ²To bodies, yes! ³The thoughts that seem to kill are those that teach the thinker that he can be killed. ⁴And so he “dies” because of what he learned. ⁵He goes from life to death, the final proof he valued the inconstant more than constancy. ⁶Surely he thought he wanted happiness. ⁷Yet he did not desire it because it was the truth, and therefore must be constant.
2. The constancy of joy is a condition quite alien to your understanding. ²Yet if you could even imagine what it must be, you would desire it although you understand it not. ³The constancy of happiness has no exceptions; no change of any kind. ⁴It is unshakable as is the Love of God for His creation. ⁵Sure in its vision as its Creator is in what He knows, happiness looks on everything and sees it is the same. ⁶It sees not the ephemeral, for it desires everything be like itself, and sees it so. ⁷Nothing has power to confound its constancy, because its own desire cannot be shaken. ⁸It comes as surely unto those who see the final question is necessary to the rest, as peace must come to those who choose to heal and not to judge. T-21.VIII.1:1–2:8

4 OCT. 2024 · Welcome to the Wandering Monk podcast episode 5. Today we will meditate together on the words of Jesus from A Course in Miracles. I will read from lesson 189 and 267. May these words bring you deeper into the Love of God.
I feel the Love of God within me now
1. There is a light in you the world can not perceive. ²And with its eyes you will not see this light, for you are blinded by the world. ³Yet you have eyes to see it. ⁴It is there for you to look upon. ⁵It was not placed in you to be kept hidden from your sight. ⁷To feel the Love of God within you is to see the world anew, shining in innocence, alive with hope, and blessed with perfect charity and love.
2. Who could feel fear in such a world as this? ²It welcomes you, rejoices that you came, and sings your praises as it keeps you safe from every form of danger and of pain. ³It offers you a warm and gentle home in which to stay a while. ⁴It blesses you throughout the day, and watches through the night as silent guardian of your holy sleep. ⁵It sees salvation in you, and protects the light in you, in which it sees its own. ⁶It offers you its flowers and its snow, in thankfulness for your benevolence.
7. Simply do this: Be still, and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is; all concepts you have learned about the world; all images you hold about yourself. ²Empty your mind of everything it thinks is either true or false, or good or bad, of every thought it judges worthy, and all the ideas of which it is ashamed. ³Hold onto nothing. ⁴Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned before from anything. ⁵Forget this world, forget this course, and come with wholly empty hands unto your God.
10. Father, we do not know the way to You. ²But we have called, and You have answered us. ³We will not interfere. ⁴Salvation’s ways are not our own, for they belong to You. ⁵And it is unto You we look for them. ⁶Our hands are open to receive Your gifts. ⁷We have no thoughts we think apart from You, and cherish no beliefs of what we are, or Who created us. ⁸Yours is the way that we would find and follow. ⁹And we ask but that Your Will, which is our own as well, be done in us and in the world, that it become a part of Heaven now.
My heart is beating in the peace of God
1. Surrounding me is all the life that God created in His Love. ²It calls to me in every heartbeat and in every breath; in every action and in every thought. ³Peace fills my heart, and floods my body with the purpose of forgiveness. ⁴Now my mind is healed, and all I need to save the world is given me. ⁵Each heartbeat brings me peace; each breath infuses me with strength. ⁶I am a messenger of God, directed by His Voice, sustained by Him in love, and held forever quiet and at peace within His loving Arms. ⁷Each heartbeat calls His Name, and every one is answered by His Voice, assuring me I am at home in Him.
1 OCT. 2024 · What is Forgiveness?
In this episode, I reflect on the experience I had when I was traveling. I was in a foreign country and my 3 months visa was running out in a week. I took guided steps in a certain direction. However, an outcome was unexpected; the door was closed. It seemed that places that I considered home and thought I could always go to were not accessible anymore. This forced me to have a real, honest look at the value I had given to these places and admit that I was indeed relying on the outside world for my comfort and safety, rather than relying solely on God. As Jesus teaches, we use these worldly things or places as a substitute for God’s love. So here I was truly facing myself, my beliefs, my investment in the world, my fears. In this episode, I share the practice I used and continue using through these times when my beliefs seem challenged which helps me free my mind from the ego’s chains.
From A Course in Miracles:
1. Forgiveness recognizes what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred. ²It does not pardon sins and make them real. ³It sees there was no sin. ⁴And in that view are all your sins forgiven. ⁵What is sin, except a false idea about God’s Son? ⁶Forgiveness merely sees its falsity, and therefore lets it go. ⁷What then is free to take its place is now the Will of God.
2. An unforgiving thought is one which makes a judgment that it will not raise to doubt, although it is not true. ²The mind is closed, and will not be released. ³The thought protects projection, tightening its chains, so that distortions are more veiled and more obscure; less easily accessible to doubt, and further kept from reason. ⁴What can come between a fixed projection and the aim that it has chosen as its wanted goal?
3. An unforgiving thought does many things. ²In frantic action it pursues its goal, twisting and overturning what it sees as interfering with its chosen path. ³Distortion is its purpose, and the means by which it would accomplish it as well. ⁴It sets about its furious attempts to smash reality, without concern for anything that would appear to pose a contradiction to its point of view.
4. Forgiveness, on the other hand, is still, and quietly does nothing. ²It offends no aspect of reality, nor seeks to twist it to appearances it likes. ³It merely looks, and waits, and judges not. ⁴He who would not forgive must judge, for he must justify his failure to forgive. ⁵But he who would forgive himself must learn to welcome truth exactly as it is.
5. Do nothing, then, and let forgiveness show you what to do, through Him Who is your Guide, your Savior and Protector, strong in hope, and certain of your ultimate success. ²He has forgiven you already, for such is His function, given Him by God. ³Now must you share His function, and forgive whom He has saved, whose sinlessness He sees, and whom He honors as the Son of God. 27 SEP. 2024 · What Is the Body? Practical application from the teachings of A Course in Miracles
"1. The body is a fence the Son of God imagines he has built, to separate parts of his Self from other parts. ²It is within this fence he thinks he lives, to die as it decays and crumbles. ³For within this fence he thinks that he is safe from love. ⁴Identifying with his safety, he regards himself as what his safety is. ⁵How else could he be certain he remains within the body, keeping love outside?
2. The body will not stay. ²Yet this he sees as double safety. ³For the Son of God’s impermanence is “proof” his fences work, and do the task his mind assigns to them. ⁴For if his oneness still remained untouched, who could attack and who could be attacked? ⁵Who could be victor? ⁶Who could be his prey? ⁷Who could be victim? ⁸Who the murderer? ⁹And if he did not die, what “proof” is there that God’s eternal Son can be destroyed?
3. The body is a dream. ²Like other dreams it sometimes seems to picture happiness, but can quite suddenly revert to fear, where every dream is born. ³For only love creates in truth, and truth can never fear. ⁴Made to be fearful, must the body serve the purpose given it. ⁵But we can change the purpose that the body will obey by changing what we think that it is for.
4. The body is the means by which God’s Son returns to sanity. ²Though it was made to fence him into hell without escape, yet has the goal of Heaven been exchanged for the pursuit of hell. ³The Son of God extends his hand to reach his brother, and to help him walk along the road with him. ⁴Now is the body holy. ⁵Now it serves to heal the mind that it was made to kill.
5. You will identify with what you think will make you safe. ²Whatever it may be, you will believe that it is one with you. ³Your safety lies in truth, and not in lies. ⁴Love is your safety. ⁵Fear does not exist. ⁶Identify with love, and you are safe. ⁷Identify with love, and you are home. ⁸Identify with love, and find your Self." https://acim.org/acim/workbook/what-is-the-body/en/s/676#1:1-5:8
