Et: Maarika ja Kalju istusid väikese maja ees, sügavas metsas, Lahemaa rahvuspargi ääres.
En: Maarika and Kalju were sitting in front of a small house, deep in the woods, on the edge of Lahemaa National Park.

Et: Oli suvi ja päike paistis eredalt puulatvade kohale.
En: It was summer, and the sun shone brightly over the treetops.

Et: Kõikjal ümberringi õitsesid metsikud lilled ja õhk oli täis männiokaste lõhna.
En: Wildflowers were blooming everywhere, and the air was filled with the scent of pine needles.
