Es: En Ciudad de México, las calles no estaban en el suelo.
En: In Mexico City, the streets were not on the ground.

Es: No, las calles estaban en el cielo.
En: No, the streets were in the sky.

Es: Los automóviles no se movían sobre el asfalto.
En: The cars did not move on asphalt.

Es: Los automóviles volaban entre las nubes.
En: The cars flew among the clouds.

Es: Sofía vivía en un pequeño apartamento en un edificio muy alto.
En: Sofía lived in a small apartment in a very tall building.

Es: Ella tenía doce años y amaba mirar los automóviles voladores desde su ventana.
En: She was twelve years old and loved watching the flying cars from her window.

Es: Un día, Sofía vio algo extraño.
En: One day, Sofía saw something strange.

Es: Un automóvil se detuvo en medio del aire y comenzó a descender rápidamente.
En: A car stopped in mid-air and began to descend quickly.

Es: —¡Mamá! —gritó Sofía—. ¡Mira ese auto!
En: “Mom!” Sofía shouted. “Look at that car!”

Es: Llamó a su amigo Pedro, quien sabía mucho de autos voladores.
En: She called her friend Pedro, who knew a lot about flying cars.

Es: Pedro vino rápido y comenzó a revisar el auto.
En: Pedro arrived quickly and began to check the car.
