Story Transcript:

Sr: U malom selu u srcu Srbije nalazila se kafana "Tri šljive", poznato mesto okupljanja domaćih ljudi.
En: In a small village in the heart of Serbia, there was a tavern called "Three Plums," a well-known gathering place for the locals.

Sr: Ondje je svaka večer bila ispunjena smehom, dobrom hranom i naravno, rakijom.
En: Every evening, it was filled with laughter, good food, and of course, rakija.

Sr: Tako je bilo i te večeri kada su Miloš i Ana, dvoje dobrih prijatelja, sedeli za stolom pored starog kamina.
En: That's how it was that evening when Miloš and Ana, two good friends, sat at a table next to the old fireplace.

Sr: Miloš je bio ozbiljan momak, poznat po tome što nikada nije prosuo ni kap svoje dragocene rakije.
En: Miloš was a serious guy, known for never spilling a drop of his precious rakija.

Sr: Ana, vedra devojka sa zaraznim smehom, uvek je volela da ga zadirkiva zbog toga.
En: Ana, a cheerful girl with an infectious laugh, always loved to tease him about it.

Sr: Te večeri, kafana je bila puna i u vazduhu se osećala radost.
En: That evening, the tavern was full, and the air was filled with joy.

Sr: Dok je Miloš pričao o svom danu na poslu, brzo je mahnuo rukom ne gledajući i nehotično prevrnuo čašicu punu rakije pravo na svoje pantalone.
En: As Miloš talked about his day at work, he quickly waved his hand without looking and accidentally knocked over a glass of rakija right onto his pants.

Sr: Soba se na trenutak utišala, a zatim je Anin smeh odjeknuo kafanom.
En: The room fell silent for a moment, then Ana's laughter echoed through the tavern.

Sr: Bila je to ona vrsta nekontrolisanog, zaraznog smeha koji se širi prostorijom i tera sve da se nasmeju.
En: It was the kind of uncontrollable, infectious laughter that spreads through the room and makes everyone smile.

Sr: Miloš se zacrveneo, pokušavajući da sakrije svoj očaj dok je brisao rakiju sa svojih pantalona.
En: Miloš blushed, trying to hide his embarrassment as he wiped the rakija off his pants.

Sr: Ali što je više pokušavao da se oporavi, Ana je sve više i više se smejala.
En: But the harder he tried to recover, the more Ana laughed.

Sr: "Tako ti i treba!
En: "That's what you deserve!"

Sr: " rekla je kroz smeh.
En: she said through laughter.

Sr: "To ti je kazna za sve te godine gde ni kap nije pala!
En: "It's payback for all those years of never spilling a drop!"

Sr: "Miloš je počeo da se smeje, shvativši koliko je situacija smešna.
En: Miloš started laughing, realizing how funny the situation was.

Sr: Nastavili su da se smeju i pričaju, a kafanska atmosfera postala je još veselija nego prije.
En: They continued to laugh and talk, and the tavern atmosphere became even livelier than before.

Sr: Na kraju večeri, dok su izlazili iz kafane, Miloš je Ana na simpatičan način rekao: "Znaš šta, sledeći put ću ja tebe naučiti kako se ispravno prosipa rakija!
En: At the end of the evening, as they were leaving the tavern, Miloš said to Ana in a charming way, "You know what, next time I'll teach you how to spill rakija properly!"

Sr: "Nazdravili su s ostatkom društva koji je još uvek bio u kafani, svi zajedno smejući se i dijeleći šalu na Milošev račun.
En: They toasted with the rest of the company still in the tavern, all laughing together and sharing jokes at Miloš' expense.

Sr: Te noći su svi otišli kući sa osmehom na licu.
En: That night, everyone went home with a smile on their face.

Sr: Iako je rakija bila prosuta, prijateljstvo između Miloša i Ane samo je postalo jače, a priča o prosutoj rakiji dugo će se prepričavati među stolovima stare kafane "Tri šljive".
En: Although the rakija was spilled, the friendship between Miloš and Ana only grew stronger, and the story of the spilled rakija would be retold among the tables of the old tavern "Three Plums" for a long time.
