Do you ever feel like shoulds take over your life? As an anxious person- which only gets worse when I'm stressed- shoulds often dominate my thinking. I should do this, I should be this, I should fix this, I should solve this, I should do this because they expect it, etc.
I realized long ago that didn't want to live that way, but actually putting it into action is something that takes a lot of mental effort, bravery, and a bit of awkwardness too.
Today on the episode I share how uncomfortable I'm feeling with the balls that I'm dropping in my life as I go through this crazy time of transition with starting a new job, selling my house, and preparing to buy a new home. There's of course more going on than I'm ready to disclose details on, but as I'm sure you can tell - and maybe are experiencing yourself- it can be really hard to take care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally when undergoing all that.
But it IS possible. It's okay to slow down. And it's okay to not be perfect.
It's also okay to give a big middle finger to the shoulds that often steer us off path.
