Nl: Lars, Eva en Charlotte stonden op een kille ochtend in Amsterdam.
En: Lars, Eva, and Charlotte stood on a chilly morning in Amsterdam.

Nl: Ze keken naar de fiets.
En: They looked at the bike.

Nl: De kerstmarkt was druk en overal waren lampjes en kerstmuziek.
En: The Christmas market was busy, with lights and Christmas music everywhere.

Nl: Lars had een grote stapel versgebakken stroopwafels in zijn handen.
En: Lars had a big stack of freshly made stroopwafels in his hands.

Nl: “Dit wordt een uitdaging,” zei hij.
En: "This is going to be a challenge," he said.

Nl: Eva en Charlotte knikten.
En: Eva and Charlotte nodded.

Nl: Ze hadden altijd de leukste ideeën, maar soms waren ze moeilijk.
En: They always had the best ideas, but sometimes they were difficult.

Nl: Vandaag was zo'n dag.
En: Today was one of those days.

Nl: Ze moesten door de markt fietsen zonder de stroopwafels te laten vallen.

Nl: De mensen keken op en gingen aan de kant.
En: People looked up and stepped aside.

Nl: De kinderen lachten en wezen naar de stroopwafels.
En: Children laughed and pointed at the stroopwafels.

Nl: De volwassenen glimlachten en wensten hen succes.
En: Adults smiled and wished them luck.

Nl: Het was een hele toestand, maar het was leuk.
En: It was quite a scene, but it was fun.

Nl: Eindelijk, na veel gelach en bijna-ongelukken, kwamen ze aan het einde van de kerstmarkt.
En: Finally, after lots of laughter and almost-accidents, they reached the end of the Christmas market.
