Story Transcript:

Nb: En solrik ettermiddag i Frognerparken, Oslo, gikk Ola, Kari og Espen langs de vakre gangveiene.
En: On a sunny afternoon in Frogner Park, Oslo, Ola, Kari, and Espen walked along the beautiful pathways.

Nb: Trærne var grønne, blomsterne blomstret, og solen skapte et vakkert lys over de kjente statuene i parken.
En: The trees were green, the flowers were blooming, and the sun cast a beautiful light over the park's famous statues.

Nb: Kari gikk litt foran de andre.
En: Kari was walking a bit ahead of the others.

Nb: Plutselig så hun en bekjent.
En: Suddenly, she saw an acquaintance.

Nb: Trodde hun.
En: At least she thought she did.

Nb: Hun gikk bort til statuen.
En: She walked over to the statue.

Nb: "Heisann, det var lenge siden!"
En: "Hello there, it's been a while!"

Nb: sa Kari.
En: Kari said.

Nb: Ola og Espen stoppet opp.
En: Ola and Espen stopped.

Nb: De så Kari prate med statuen.
En: They saw Kari talking to the statue.

Nb: De kunne ikke tro sine egne øyne.
En: They couldn’t believe their own eyes.

Nb: "Har du hatt det bra?"
En: "Have you been well?"

Nb: fortsatte Kari og smilte bredt.
En: Kari continued, smiling broadly.

Nb: Ola og Espen begynte å fnise.
En: Ola and Espen started to giggle.

Nb: Espen tok hånden for å dekke munnen, men latteren hans lurte seg ut.
En: Espen covered his mouth with his hand, but his laughter slipped out.

Nb: "Har du lyst til å ta en kaffe senere?"
En: "Would you like to grab a coffee later?"

Nb: spurte Kari og vinket til statuen.
En: Kari asked, waving to the statue.

Nb: "Å nei, hva har jeg gjort?"

En: Kari muttered, shocked and embarrassed.

Nb: Ola og Espen kom bort til Kari, fortsatt leende.
En: Ola and Espen walked over to Kari, still laughing.

Nb: Kari så på dem, og til slutt begynte hun også å le.
En: Kari looked at them, and finally, she started to laugh too.

Nb: Hennes feil var komisk, og snart lo alle tre sammen.
En: Her mistake was comical, and soon all three were laughing together.
