It: Il sole si era appena alzato su Piazza San Marco, Venezia.
En: The sun had just risen over Piazza San Marco, Venice.

It: Evocava un quadro vivente con le sue luci dorate, le sue spianate di pietra antica e gli innumerevoli piccioni che si radunavano in cerca di cibo.
En: It evoked a living painting with its golden lights, its stretches of ancient stone, and the countless pigeons gathering in search of food.
