Lv: Saule jau sāka rietēt, un pludmales smiltis spīdēja zelta krāsās.
En: The sun had already begun to set, and the beach sand glowed in golden hues.

Lv: Jānis un Laima devās uz Sunset Dunes pludmali, lai sarīkotu pikniku.
En: Jānis and Laima set off for Sunset Dunes beach to have a picnic.

Lv: Jānis bija rūpīgi sagatavojies šai dienai.
En: Jānis had meticulously prepared for this day.

Lv: Viss bija perfekti iepakots – segas, groziņš ar ēdieniem, dzērieniem un pat sveces.
