Ca: Joan, amb els seus ulls ben oberts, gaudia dels encants de Barcelona.
En: Joan, with his eyes wide open, was enjoying the charms of Barcelona.

Ca: Encreuant scenic carrers estrets de ciutat antiga, el seu estómac va cridar.
En: Crossing scenic narrow streets of the old city, his stomach growled.

Ca: L'olor de pa acabat de fer el va cridar des de la fleca tradicional a la cantonada.

Ca: Mirant a través de l'aparador ple de deliciosos pastissos i entrepans, Joan va decidir que només un panet amb jamón ibèric acontentaria la seva gana.
