He: המחנה היה מלא חיים.
En: The camp was full of life.

He: ילדים ובני נוער התאמנו בשדות הירוקים.
En: Children and teenagers trained in the green fields.

He: קרני שמש חמות עברו בין העצים הצפופים מסביב.
En: Warm sunbeams passed through the dense trees surrounding them.

He: במרכז כל זה עמדה יעל.
En: In the midst of it all stood Yael.

He: היא עמדה מול חנות הציוד הקטנה שבפינת המחנה, וניסתה להחליט מה לקנות.
En: She stood in front of the small equipment store at the corner of the camp, trying to decide what to buy.

He: "הקיץ הזה אני חייבת להוכיח את עצמי," היא חשבה לעצמה.
En: "This summer I have to prove myself," she thought to herself.

He: המאמנת שלה, דורית, הייתה המפתח לכניסה לנבחרת הגדולה.
En: Her coach, Dorit, was the key to getting into the big team.

En: Yael knew she needed to impress her.

En: She looked at the luxury sports shoes.

En: The seller approached her.

En: "These are the best shoes we have," he said with a smile.

He: "ואם אקנה כמה דברים פשוטים יותר?
En: "And if I buy a few simpler items?

He: אולי זה יהיה חכם יותר," חשבה יעל לרגע.
En: Maybe that would be smarter," Yael thought for a moment.

He: אבל אז נזכרה בריצות שהייתה עושה.
En: But then she remembered the runs she used to do.

En: She remembered how important shoes were for a good run.

En: The seller explained about the shoes: "They are light, very comfortable, and specially designed to improve speed.
