Story Transcript:

Sv: I centrala Stockholm, på en av dess mest upptagna gator, bodde Erik, Sofia och deras dotter, Isabella. Nära Slottet, i en liten men mysig lägenhet var det där de kallade hem.
En: In central Stockholm, on one of its busiest streets, lived Erik, Sofia, and their daughter, Isabella. Close to the Palace, in a small but cozy apartment, it was where they called home.

Sv: En dag bestämmer familjen att införskaffa en ny bokhylla. De besöker IKEA i Kungens Kurva, en populär utflykt, välkänd hos alla stockholmare. Hyllan de väljer är hög och bred, med plats för alla Isabellas sagoböcker samt Eriks och Sofias romaner.
En: One day, the family decides to purchase a new bookshelf. They visit IKEA in Kungens Kurva, a popular excursion well-known to all Stockholmers. The shelf they choose is tall and wide, with room for all of Isabella's fairy tale books as well as Erik and Sofia's novels.

Sv: Valet äro gjort; BILLY är namnet. De köper den flatpachade hyllan, packar in den i bilen och åker hem. Medan storstaden susar utanför fönstren, inleder de äventyret med montering. Men snart upptäcker de ett problem: instruktionerna saknas.
En: The choice is made; BILLY is the name. They buy the flat-packed shelf, pack it into the car, and head home. While the big city buzzes outside the windows, they embark on the adventure of assembling it. But soon they discover a problem: the instructions are missing.

Sv: "Kanske det är enkelt nog", föreslår Erik med ett hoppfullt leende. Men timmarna går och BILLY växer bara inte fram. Erik, med två vänsterhänder, kan inte lista ut hur skruvarna ska passa ihop. Sofia försöker med logik och tålamod men inte heller hon lyckas.
En: "Maybe it's simple enough," Erik suggests with a hopeful smile. But the hours pass, and BILLY just doesn't come together. Erik, with two left hands, can't figure out how the screws fit together. Sofia tries with logic and patience, but even she fails.

Sv: Det är Isabella, ännu så ung, som ger dem en idé. Med sina byggklossar demonstrerar hon en lösning och säger: "Pappa, mamma, kanske vi ska prova så här!" Erik blinkar förvånat, och Sofia skrattar förtjust.
En: It is Isabella, still so young, who gives them an idea. With her building blocks, she demonstrates a solution and says, "Dad, Mom, maybe we should try it like this!" Erik blinks in surprise, and Sofia laughs delightedly.

Sv: Efter deras lilla ledare tar de sig an IKEA-BILLY än en gång. Genom att följa Isabellas idé börjar bitarna äntligen falla på plats. Skrattande och med förnyad energi kämpar de tillsammans, tills BILLY står stadigt.
En: Following their little leader, they tackle IKEA-BILLY once again. By following Isabella's idea, the pieces finally start to fall into place. Laughing and with renewed energy, they fight together until BILLY stands steadily.

Sv: De tre ägarna till den nybyggda hyllan firar med att fylla den med böcker och stolta leenden. Isabella, den minsta men klokaste, utropar: "Vi gjorde det!" Erik och Sofia ser på varandra och inser att de har lyckats övervinna utmaningen, inte på grund av deras egen skicklighet, utan genom styrkan i deras samarbete.
En: The three owners of the newly built shelf celebrate by filling it with books and proud smiles. Isabella, the smallest but wisest, exclaims, "We did it!" Erik and Sofia look at each other and realize they have overcome the challenge, not because of their own skill, but through the strength of their collaboration.

Sv: I Sverige, landet av IKEA och fika, i hjärtat av drottningens stad, står nu en BILLY-bokhylla, en symbol för den äventyrsfulla dagen då en familj visade att tillsammans kan de övervinna alla utmaningar... även att montera en bokhylla utan instruktioner.
En: In Sweden, the country of IKEA and fika, in the heart of the queen's city, now stands a BILLY bookshelf, a symbol of the adventurous day when a family showed that together they can overcome any challenge... even assembling a bookshelf without instructions.
