Fr: Sur une rue étroite de Paris, vivait un garçon.
En: On a narrow street in Paris, lived a boy.

Fr: Son nom était Antoine.
En: His name was Antoine.

Fr: Il était curieux et aimait beaucoup les peintures.
En: He was curious and loved paintings a lot.

Fr: Un jour, il est allé au grand musée du Louvre.
En: One day, he went to the grand Louvre museum.

Fr: Antoine avait un ticket doré qui brillait au soleil.
En: Antoine had a golden ticket that shone in the sun.

Fr: Il l'a montré au gardien.
En: He showed it to the guard.

Fr: Le gardien, un grand homme en uniforme bleu, a ouvert la porte.
En: The guard, a tall man in a blue uniform, opened the door.

Fr: Antoine est entré.
En: Antoine entered.

Fr: Devant lui, se déployait un monde de peintures et de sculptures.
En: In front of him, unfolded a world of paintings and sculptures.

Fr: Le Louvre était grand, vraiment très grand.
En: The Louvre was big, really very big.

Fr: Antoine a regardé les peintures, l’une après l’autre.
En: Antoine looked at the paintings, one after the other.

Fr: Il y avait des peintures de rois et de reines, de paysages, d'animaux.
En: There were paintings of kings, queens, landscapes, animals.

Fr: Antoine a commencé à marcher sans se soucier du temps.
En: Antoine began to walk without worrying about the time.

Fr: Il allait de salle en salle, regardant chaque peinture avec beaucoup d’attention.
En: He went from room to room, looking at each painting with great attention.

Fr: Tout à coup, il a réalisé.
En: Suddenly, he realized.

Fr: Il était perdu.
En: He was lost.

Fr: Le Louvre était comme un grand labyrinthe.

Fr: "Où suis-je?
En: "Where am I?"

Fr: Il fit un pas en arrière, puis un autre en avant.
En: He took a step back, then one forward.

Fr: Il était désespéré.
En: He was desperate.

Fr: Soudain, il vit une sculpture.
En: Suddenly, he saw a sculpture.

Fr: C'était une statue d'une femme avec un sourire mystérieux.
En: It was a statue of a woman with a mysterious smile.

Fr: "La Joconde!
En: "The Mona Lisa!"

Fr: " s'exclama Antoine, reconnaissant la célèbre œuvre de Léonard de Vinci.
En: exclaimed Antoine, recognizing the famous work by Leonardo da Vinci.

Fr: Il a regardé autour de lui.
En: He looked around.

Fr: Il se rappela alors le chemin.
En: He then remembered the way.

Fr: Il reprit courage, passa à côté de la statue de Ceasar, puis vers le grand escalier.
En: He gathered his courage, passed by the statue of Ceasar, then headed towards the grand staircase.

Fr: Il retrouva le grand gardien en uniforme bleu.
En: He found the tall guard in the blue uniform again.

Fr: Antoine lui sourit.
En: Antoine smiled at him.

Fr: Antoine avait trouvé la sortie.
En: Antoine had found the way out.

Fr: Il était si content.
En: He was so happy.

Fr: Il a laissé le grand musée derrière lui et est rentré chez lui, sautant de joie.
En: He left the grand museum behind and went back home, jumping with joy.

Fr: Ce jour-là, Antoine avait vécu une grande aventure.
En: That day, Antoine had experienced a great adventure.

Fr: Il s'était perdu dans le musée du Louvre.
En: He had gotten lost in the Louvre museum.

Fr: Mais il avait retrouvé son chemin.
En: But he had found his way.

Fr: Il riait alors et disait à lui-même : "Le Louvre est un grand musée.

Fr: "Et Antoine vécut de nombreuses autres aventures.
