It: In una giornata estiva a Venezia, fra il picchiettare delle acque lungo i canali e la risata dei bambini che giocano in lontananza, a Leonardo scivolò una pagaia.
En: On a summer day in Venice, amidst the rippling of water along the canals and the laughter of children playing in the distance, Leonardo dropped his paddle.
It: La pagaia batté sull'acqua con un tonfo.
En: The paddle hit the water with a thud.
It: Un getto d'acqua partì dalla gondola come una frusta e si infranse su una turista a bordo, Sofia.
En: A jet of water shot from the gondola like a whip and soaked a tourist on board, Sofia.
It: Lei indossava un vestito leggero che, adesso, si era trasformato in una camicia trasparente e aderente.
En: She was wearing a light dress that now had turned into a transparent and clingy shirt.
